Berlin has over 100 Christmas markets around the city, and one is for our Canine friends, and there are different markets to visit:
- Spandau is the biggest.
- For looks, Weihnachtszauber,
- The Gendarmenmarkt Square is the prettiest, offering a wide range of arts and crafts on offer.

But if you need a bit of distraction and expending some energy, you can go to the Winter World on Potsdamer Platz, which has a lot of winter sporting activities, so for a few euros you can go down a 40ft toboggan run, curling, and ice-skating with free lessons for kids whilst taking in the views of Brandenburg Gate.
For the gentler old-fashioned fun in the Alexanderplatz there are the traditional rides, including a Ferris wheel, and you can fill up on bratwurst, gingerbread, and glühwein while doing your Christmas shopping. Ending up with a bit of royalty, you will be at the offbeat Christmas market in front of the Charlottenburg Palace.
